We're Officially Homeowners

As of 5:30pm, the Mabreys are proud owners of their very own bidet...

This has been the week from H-E-L-L, but it is over now and we actually (barely) closed on time.

I told David I refuse to buy another house again.

He better start loving his new bidet.

Top Five

Well, the countdown has begun in the Mabrey household. We're set and ready to close on the new house this Friday. All the renovations have been picked out and approved. New counter tops, ceramic tile, and new carpet have all been ordered and waiting to be installed. The moving truck has been reserved and fingers crossed, we'll move the last weekend of the month.

Over the last year, I haven't said much about our rental house because I'll just be honest....I hate it. I didn't mind things at first, but overtime, I've come to despise it. I'm about to go crazy in this house. Here are the top five reasons I gotta get out and soon...

#1. Take a close look and see if you notice what's missing...

Figured it out yet?

No dishwasher. Yeah, no dishwasher just sucks. "Oh, it won't be so bad" I said when we looked at the house. Well, stupid me. It sucks. Especially when it comes to washing a thousand bottles a day, you really start wishing for a dishwasher. Needless to say, we eat off of paper plates and use paper cups pretty much everyday. I will be happy to start eating off regular plates again.

#2. Just one bathroom...

Okay, one bathroom isn't so bad. Especially since it's only two adults living here. Right now, it's less to clean. But I do hate having to share a bath with my guest. I wish, more for their sake, they had their own bathroom to use.

#3. What's this? Extra storage space?

Wrong! That people would be my laundry room. Yep, it's outside. To be quite honest, it's pretty scary on the inside. I'm so scared by it, I refuse to show you the inside. When it pours rain (which it's done all this year), it leaks on the inside. Plus, it just sucks to have to go outside to get your laundry out when it's freezing outside.

#4. The road

We live off a major (and very busy) highway in our town. It's amazing that only two of David's employers have figured out where we live. Especially, since we live less than a quarter of a mile from one of his stores. For obvious reasons, I'll be happy to get off the main road and into a neighborhood. I plan on being outside with Olivia a lot and being hit by a car is not one thing I wanna worry about. And to play into my mom fears, I'm scared to death that a car is one day going to run off the road and into Olivia's room which is at the front of the house one night while she's sleeping. Dead serious, I pray every night that this does not happen.

#5. My closets

I believe these pictures say enough. This is all the storage space in our house at the moment. Now you see why getting organized is one of my goals for 2010.

Oh and the obvious, the house isn't really my style. The paint colors are pretty bland, the bathroom needs to be remodeled, and those brown kitchen cabinets just don't get me excited. We did break the rules and paint Olivia's room, but that's because everyone told me I would have been disappointed if I didn't decorate her room like I wanted. So, I'm excited to get into a house that is more our style and get to decorate it like I wanna.

The Mabreys on the move (again)...

For many weeks (okay, months) we've been debating what would be best for our family. Should we wait till David's job moves us again or should we stay put where we're at for awhile?

For years now we've been saying we'll go wherever they send us. When we found out we were pregnant, we started to be a little hesitant. But now that she's actually here, we're really not sure we want to move. Over the last few weeks, we've been having this discussion on a daily basis. We're both decided that for right now, we want to stay put near our family and friends.

A few weeks ago, we decided to look at houses again. We've never owned a home of our own, so the tax credit was a big incentive. Our plan was to wait till January, but you know I would go and start looking. Of course, I found and fell in love with a house quick. We went to look at it twice and we both ended up falling in love. David wanted to still wait till January, but I (and a few others) pushed him to go ahead with it.

Yesterday, they accepted our offer, the contract was signed, and we're set to be homeowner's in January.

(I'm assuming it's safe to post a picture since it's in the back of a neighborhood.)

Seriously, this is my dream house (besides an old farm house that's already fixed up). It's a foreclosure and we are stealing it. I won't tell you how much, but you wouldn't believe me anyway. We got the deal of the century. Even our Real Estate agent was shocked they took the price we offered.

This house is meant to be ours. We've lived in several different houses over the years and both worked in real estate for several years. With all that experience, we developed three list. We have a A, B, & C list. The A list is things the house must have or we won't even look at it. The B list is things we would like, but would look at houses that didn't have them. The C list is just stuff we dream about. This house has everything on all three of our list. It's meant to be.

So, needless to say, we're super excited.

This years blog post were all about the joys (haha, I crack myself up) of pregnancy. Be prepared, I'm sure 2010 will be all about the house.

Dreaming....

To say I have an obsession with real estate is an understatement. I am constantly looking at what's for sale in the neighborhoods we like. You can drive me through my favorite neighborhoods and I can tell you how much their asking for every house that's for sale, the stats for the house, and what others sold for in the past. I'm dead serious on this. My husband will vouch for me. It's a gift.

I even memorize these things when we're not looking for a house. We've decided that since our lease is up in January to start looking for a house again. I know this is only the twentieth time we've said we're buying a house, but this time's its for real (the tax credit has a little something to do with it). Yes, I'm sure our real estate agent rolls his eyes when he sees one of us call. Luckily, he's a old friend (meaning old in the fact we've known him a long time, he would be mad if I was calling him old).

Before David started working at the waffle, we looked at houses in the town we're currently living in. We never dreamed he would eventually be working down here. We looked at a house that I feel in love with, but we had no money at all, so it was just a dream. Well, that house is back on the market.

I'm in love with this house. I have seriously driven by it frequently these past four years since I've first saw it. It's got a ton of room and would fit a growing family. It's 100 years old and has so much character to it. It has stained glass windows, a big bay window with a window seat, a sun room, and the list goes on. The pictures don't do it justice. I pulled them off the mls site.

The big black window is open to the staircase.

The family room and dinning room are a nice size.

Every room (besides the kitchen and baths) has a fireplace in it.

This is one of the issues with the house...

The kitchen needs a total rehab, but has a ton of potential. The people who bought it last bought it as a foreclosure and tried to rehab it. They did a pretty crappy job and wanted way too much for it. It's a foreclosure again. Unfortunately, we also think it has some foundation issues. That of which can be pretty expensive and money we don't have.

Oh well, maybe one day...I'll keep dreaming.

Nesting

The comment was made that I was "nesting on my blog"....nope, that's just me being me. I'm one of the few people that will admit I crave change. The hubby always laughs and says it's amazing I've even kept him around as long as I have. He's the only thing that hasn't been "changed" in my life these past ten years.

Those who know me in the real world know that every time you come to my house, you never know what your going to find since I am notorious for rearranging everything. Even as a kid I would drag my furniture around my room to rearrange. We have yet to figure where I get this from. No one else in the family seems to have this problem. Plus, it is the reason why I haven't bought a customized blog layout. I know as soon as I buy one, I'll be tired of it and want something different. So, I just stick with the free stuff.

I have though been "nesting" around the house. Saturday I went on a rampage with cleaning the house. I then tackled all the baby stuff that was given to us or we bought at yard sales. I took everything down to the bones, sanitized the crap out of it (especially the stuff from the yard sale, who knows where it lived before our house), and washed what could be washed. Everything is now ready to go. We had bought an extra car seat at a yard sale for David's car and I wasn't too sure about it because it was looking pretty nasty and I told David the other day I wasn't going to put my baby girl in that. After I stripped it to nothing and spent an hour cleaning it (I even cleaned the little nooks with a q-tip), it looks pretty good now. I gave him the go ahead to put it in his car.

We are now officially ready for our baby girls arrival. The hospital bag is packed and ready to go. There is a list on the fridge of last minute things to grab before we head out and the car seat is in the car. Now we're just waiting......

As promised....

As promised....here are pictures from Olivia Kate's (OK) Nursery. The pictures aren't the best because my camera sucks, but I can say that I am in love!!!

There are a few finishing touches that need to be done. The curtains will be done in a few weeks when my mom comes down and I am looking for a few other things to hang on the walls. Other than that, it's done!

The room turned out very calming. I really like it because it has color in it, but it's calming at the same time. Especially at night with just the lamp on. The chair is so comfy!!! David wanted to move it into the living room already. I told him OK gets it for a little bit. There are also feet that go on the bottom of the dresser/changing table, but of course, they need to be painted.

I mentioned before that the only furniture that is brand new is the glider and the crib, everything else is been in the family. The bookshelf is one my grandfather made for me when I was a kid and was in my room growing up. Also, the child's table and chairs also belong to me when I was a kid. The dresser/changing table belonged to David's great-grandmother who past away a few years ago. We inherited it then and it has just been sitting around the last few years. The furniture turned out great. It took a lot of time and paint, but we ended up saving a lot of money.

So after a straight week of work, it's done. Its amazing to think that a week ago, it looked nothing like a baby's room. Once we started last Thursday, I was on a rampage to get it done and have worked on it everyday this past week. I'm so glad it's finally done!

The Nursery Nightmare

I posted earlier that if you wanted part 1 of the painting of Olivia Kate's nursery, head over to Nicole's. Thankfully, she took pictures throughout the day and posted about it. The paint party went wonderfully and we got way more accomplished than I ever thought we would with five kids under the age of five. I am so grateful to my friends for all their help. I owe them a lot more than lunch, a 3 & 1/2 hour nap, and five poopie diapers (they know what I'm talking about).

I could write a loooonnnngggg post of what all happened in the 48 hours after the paint party but I will spare you all the details. Let's just say it contained a husband walking in and saying "oh shit," three emotional breakdowns, three coats of primer, and a total of 48 hours of painting.

Obviously, when the paint went on the walls the first time, I wasn't happy with the result. The idea was green the bottom half of the wall, pink the top half, and a stripe of brown in the middle. The result ended up looking like a big bowl of spumoni ice cream. The green turned out way to bright and as my mother put it "glowed beneath the doors." It wasn't going to work so we decided to repaint. The end result turned out much better than the original idea. I honestly wasn't feeling it at first, but I am in love with it now. I can't wait to have the whole thing done and the final pictures up.

Here are a few pics from the beginning to end of the painting...

Thursday @ 3:30pm

A big bowl of spumoni ice cream!

A close up of the stripe

Before I get comments saying the green wasn't that bad...the pictures DO NOT do it justice!!! It was bright!!! Plus, the friends who helped paint agreed that the pink looked better than the green. So there is part II of the nursery sneak peek. I am still working on the furniture and still need to finish my wall art. I will post a few more pics as we go along, but I want to wait to post pics of the whole room until I'm done.

Nursery Sneek Peek

I have been asked several times to post some stuff on Olivia Kate's nursery. To be completely honest, things have just started to come together. I have done more in the last week than I have done in the last seven months combined. Here are a few pictures of what I've got so far.

Paint: Pink Spangles, Key Lime, & Chocolate Truffle

My $4 thrift store lamp with it's new coat of paint.

A rocking chair which was mine when I was little & it's new coat of paint

Paper Lanterns and a bright pink laundry basket for Olivia Kate's clothes

Crib Comforter

My clearance crib from Target. Originally $180, on clearance for $120.

Here are my two favorite pieces of Olivia Kate's Room...

I like the names that everyone puts above the crib, but I had been looking for something different since everybody does it. So, I took scrapbook paper that matched the colors of her room, glued them to the wood letters, cut around the edges of the letters, and put a few coats of glossy modge podge on them. I was scared on how they would turn out, but I absolutely love them. They turned out perfect and match the room perfectly. Now I need some ribbon to hang them.

The glider is SOOOOO comfortable. This was what David's parents wanted to contribute to the nursery, which we're very grateful for because it was also the most expensive item. I LOVE IT!!! It is currently sitting at their house waiting for the room to be painted. The room will be painted next week so I have already asked if they can bring it as soon as the painting is done. I can't wait to get this bad boy home. It comes with a matching glider so I will be using it before Olivia Kate gets here. I need something to prop my cankles up on.

Yes, there is a lot of pink, but this is my one excuse to have a pink room. My little girl is going to be decked out in pink until she starts to protest. I have some wonderful friends who have volunteered to come help me paint, so we are having a paint party next week. Things should pretty much fall in place after that. I will post some pictures when it is completely done.

Baby Bedding

Of course I started looking at stuff for the nursery months ago, but it was kinda hard to pin point what I liked since we did not yet know what we were having.

I finally narrowed it down to a few different bedding sets, but I keep coming back to a certain one. I think I have made up my mind and have my heart set on this bedding set.

It's pretty girlie and looks like an Olivia's room to me. Pink, white, brown and has little birdies on it which I'm really into right now. I didn't want something totally babyish even thought it's a baby's room. Luckily, it's available at a few different stores online. I've started cleaning out her room, but I plan on not starting to decorate the nursery till we get back from vacation in June. I definitely post pics when I get it done.

Getting Ready for Baby...

Since we found out that we were pregnant, I have been trying to decide what room we were going to use for the nursery and whether we were going to have a office or guest room. David wanted to keep the office. I wanted to keep the guest room because I figured with a new baby coming and family that lives out of town, we would need a guest room. Plus, even though we have a gym membership, I wanted to keep the treadmill in the house.

Problem is we live in a smaller house. It is really a great size for us. We don't have tons of rooms we don't use, which use to be a problem in our old house (that is a pet peeve of mine). Plus, it's less I have to clean. We just needed to figure out how to get everything we wanted to work in the house. After months of rearranging the house in my head to figure out a workable solution, I came up with the perfect solution. This past Saturday the old guest room and office were combined and so far I think its going to work.

The pictures are not the best and the room is not completely done because I still need to hang curtains, pictures, and find a rug for the floor. It would not be a room to make the magazine pages, but we have no space for a separate gym and guest room. This arrangement satisfies everyone's wants. I put the "office" in the closet and still have my tv when I walk on the treadmill. Plus, when guest come to stay we can just shut the closet doors. I have had a few suggestions to take the closet doors off and yes, I had that thought, but these doors are actually attached to the floor and look as though they might be a pain to put back up and plus, I don't plan on us being here that long. So, now the third bedroom is empty and ready for baby furniture.

Books, Books, and more Books...

This past weekend I sent Aubry a text and told her I couldn't take it anymore...I had to get my books out of their boxes. That sent us on a trip to Ikea Tuesday night in hunt for a new bookshelf. During the move, our old bookshelves were not tied down properly and had heavy wind damage. Unfortunately they could not be salvaged. Needless to say, I was pretty mad about it.

When I decided that I was going to not unpack everything, I had included books in that group. I couldn't help it though...I love books. I collect books. I cannot have enough books. My books for some reason provide comfort for me. I love having them around. Many times I will just pick up a book, read a few pages, and never pick it up again. I have no idea how many books I actually have. I never get rid of any and I buy a new book every time I walk into a bookstore. One day I will have a library in my house that has nothing but shelves of books and a few comfy chairs.

So we ventured to Ikea and I bought a new bookcase. Now I feel better because all the books are out and in view.

Only thing is that I might have needed to have bought the bigger size...I still have a few boxes that have yet to be unpacked.

House Questions...

A few people have asked why I haven't posted anything about our new house. The truth is there is nothing really to post about. I'm not planning on posting a picture of the front of it because we live off a main road and I have had problems with stalkers. Just kidding...
Secondly, I haven't really done anything to "decorate." I haven't had any energy or motivation to do anything. I'm sure most of it is due to the pregnancy, but a little of it also is due to the fact that right after we moved in, they told David to turn in his paperwork for the next promotion. A inside source, off the record, informed us that we would be here for about a year. During our last move, I learned there is a lot of our "stuff" we have that we can live without. I decided to not unpack everything due to the fact that we are going to repack within the next year. We have lived without for months now and I figure what's a little longer. Plus, even if we end up staying in this area, we will definitely buy a house when he gets promoted so either way we are moving again. Other issues are that I am not fully loving the house. I know it is hard to find a perfect house when your renting and I wasn't expecting perfect. Unfortunately, the house isn't in the best condition but it is also not in the worst condition to make the landlords want to do anything with it. It's stuff you don't notice until you move in. The house is just old and it seems to never been really taken care of. Unfortunately, in the landlords eyes the house is in great condition. I guess it is all in the eye's of the beholder. So now that I have more energy I am slowly getting around to doing stuff around the house. I might post pictures as time goes on. No promises...

Snow day

I know people in the North just laugh at us, but when it snows once every five years, we get pretty excited over it. It has been awhile since it has snowed this much in Atlanta. I left Nashville early Sunday morning to try to beat the snow home. By the time I hit north Atlanta, it was coming down hard, but fortunately I made it home safely. I snapped a few pictures because I'm sure it will be another five years before it snows again.

I took these pictures at 2:00pm when I got home and it continued to snow till 9:00pm Sunday night. Of course, all schools are out for today. So I am enjoying a day at home resting from my busy weekend.

Exhausted...

That's what I am at the moment....exhausted. This week is a combination of a great week and the week from hell.

They decided at work to start inventory. Guess who is in charge of scanning (one by one) each of the 36,000 books and putting all the inventory numbers into the computer...you guessed it, me. I do have help from C-man with moving the books around. So of course they con me into working everyday for now because if I did not, it would be next year before I finished and time to start the 2010 inventory. Let's just say Amber has gotten out of the routine of getting up at 5:30 every morning...it's been a rough week.

Plus, on top of that is class each night from 5-10pm. I have two test, my systems notebook, and three assignments due this week. Needless to say....I'm busy. I go to work, come home to study, and then off to school and repeat the next day.

And with all that already, we're moving. We're hoping to have everything moved in by Friday evening. We're excited, just hate the actual moving part. I wish you could wiggle your nose and all our stuff be in the new house. That would be nice.

So, that's what I've been up to. I figured I should post something or I was going to start receiving phone calls. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers these past few months. I think we're definitely going to be a lot happier.

The cable people are supposed to be there tomorrow, but it's cable, so I'm not holding my breath. Not sure when I will be back on the internet.

The Great Debate

Since I am on the subject of couches...I have been debating for the past few months on what type of couch I want to buy. I have narrowed it down to two choices.

I have decided to go with the ikea Ektorp series because 1. it's affordable and 2. it comes with about twenty different slipcover options so if I decide to change decor (which I'm known to do) I can just buy a new slipcover and change looks on the cheap.

My problem is I cannot decide whether to go with the corner couch or the sofa and loveseat.

The living room is kinda small. It's also more long than wide. The corner couch would be great for watching tv and lounging. Plus, it might actually work better for the small living room.

But, I'm afraid that I won't have too many ways to arrange it if I get the rearranging bug. Of course, there is a difference in price, the corner couch being more expensive by a couple of hundred bucks, which could go to other new decor or paint.

I need some opinions...please help!
That also goes to those who I know read my blog and never leave comments.
Thanks!

The House Situation

I haven't said much about the current house situation. The house I feel in love with a few post ago...well, it's ended already. I quickly feel out of love with it. Well, really with it's owner. Luckily, I guess, for the hubby it wasn't love at first sight with him so after nine years, I'm still crushing on him.

I'm not sure if anyone else does this, but I get house crushes. I stalk houses. I am always looking at real estate sites, magazines, or decorating sites for the next house to fall in love with. They are usually quick, only lasting until I find the next one to love. Seriously, it's completely stalker, but I can tell you all the houses for sale in my favorite neighborhood, how long they've been for sale, what the price is, and if its been reduced. I can do this for every house for the last four years since I found and fell in love with the neighborhood. And don't forget the usual facts, of bedrooms and baths, I can recite those facts too. It always amazes the hubby. Crazy, I know.

Anyway, back to our house situation. I won't go into major detail, but the house I previously posted and talked about was ours until the landlord started getting sketchy. Yes, there is a sucker born everyday, but luckily, we're not one of them. First, the guy started making up some fake law which would have required us to pay more money up front. Future reference, you cannot make up random laws when A. one of the signers of the contract is studying law and has easy access to a lawyer. B. Both of the signers happened to work with nothing but real estate contracts for years. They might know a thing or two about real estate laws, so don't go making up stuff. Secondly, the guy wanted us to send him $2200 in the mail with the signed contract. Um, right....like I said, there is a sucker born everyday, we just happen not to be one of them. Good luck with that one buddy!

But, we did have the opportunity to look at a house that is currently for sale and empty and the owners are interested in renting it out since the real estate market is dead right now. It happens to be a friend of a co-worker, so we know the whole situation and know they are not looking to rip anyone off. We went and looked at it last Saturday. They were kinda weary at first, but they loved us and want to do it now. Momma Mabrey went with me to look at it and the lady loved her, so I think she helped us out with it. The house isn't as cute as the other, but it is bigger and the kitchen is nicer. Plus, it has a HUGE screened in porch. It's kinda funny because it is a combination of the house I grew up in and the house DW grew up in. It's your typical 1960's ranch with a carport. It's still in a good section of town and they are including yard service with the rent (which by the way is cheaper than the other house). So, DW was sold when they said that. I called and talked to the lady again today and she said she talked it over with the others and all was good. We can move in the beginnig of Feburary. They were going to send us a little contract to sign and look over and as long as we were okay with that, all is good to go.

So, I'm not going to say it's a done deal yet, but things are looking pretty good so far. Say your prayers and keep your fingers crossed for us. I'm ready for this to all be over with and in our own house again. I'll keep you posted.

Love at first sight...

So here it is...the house I have fallen in love with at the moment...

It's super cute on the inside (minus the paint color). It has several charming built-ins. It even has a cut-out for the phone in the hallway. I'm not sure what it is called but you usually see them in old houses. All the doors have the old crystal door handles...it's precious. It's a two bedroom, but the house is a good size. Plus, we never used the third or fourth bedrooms in our old house. We only need a guest room for when Mike and Liz come to visit us (which they better come soon). Like I said, its a total Amber house. I love it. The people we're really nice, it's their Mom's old house, and they seemed to like us. Hopefully, everything will be ready within the next week. Plus, it's ready to move in after this weekend. So keep your fingers crossed and wish us luck...

Adventures in house hunting...

So I never knew how freaking frustrating this whole house hunting was going to be...

So, the house that I talked about yesterday...well, DW calls around 11 to ask the guy if we can come look at it because I had gotten done a little earlier than expected. Of course we can't because they still haven't evicted the peeps who are living there now. We are still waiting on the sheriff to come and evic them...nice.

But, don't worry because they really liked us (after a 5 min phone conversation?) and they even volunteered to move us for free due to our patience (they own a moving company) ...ummm ... something sounds strange now. They would call us in a few days to set up a time for us to see it.

So, DW and I decide that we are going to drive by since we had the directions...first we can't find it, gotta love mapquest...not. Finally it looks as though there is a clearing for a lake the next road over. So, we drive around this lovely neighborhood in which each yard is nicely decorated with junk, I mean stuff. The house wasn't what the ad represented which was a nice acre lot with lots of space inbetween the houses....which was a big fat negative. The actual house didn't look that bad. I was just a little worried about the neighborhood. I could already hear in my mind what my mother-in-law would have said first time she road through the neighborhood. Not trying to sound uppity or anything, but I don't want to drive through a neighborhood everyday that looks like a junk yard. Plus, I think the only reason the people "like" us so much is that we are probably the most educated sounding people that have called on the house so far.

Let's just say the hubby got to hear a big fat "told you so...you get what you pay for."

After that we rode back over towards the neighberhood I want to move into. Let's just say the hubby quickly raised his max of what we want to pay, which ironically was what the original rent max we had decided on until he found his little piece of heaven.

We didn't find anything new, but we called back our two prospectives over there. After riding back by (the first time was in the dark), we found one that we both liked due to the fenced in yard and little garage. We called the people again and they are out of town at the moment but want us to call back next week to come by and see it. Plus, it will fit better with our time line because there are people living in it currently and the house won't be ready till January, which is when we wanted to move originally. Plus, they allow dogs and the deposit is not astronomical like most other places. So, that was our adventures in house hunting. I think we will go look next week and if that doesn't work, we'll chill out till after the new year.

My biggest frustration comes from the landlords never calling you back. Seriously,we have called about eleven different places in three days and maybe half have called back. Plus, it takes two days before anyone will call back when they do. Plus, these houses are empty...I would think these people would be jumping to answer the phone for a empty house.

Plus, like we figured, we are having a hard time finding places that will let you have dogs. But, we've had our babies for years now and we're not about to get rid of them. We just got spoiled when we rented from DW's parents. But, I'll keep you posted on the progress. To make things better, last night DW had a business dinner with a big boss and he told him that yes, we didn't need to buy a house, but we do need to look into moving closer to his job (they pay for his gas). So, we defitnatly are going to have to do something soon.

So, keep us in your prayers. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

I've found it...

I have been looking at this house since July. Months later it is still for sell. I have decided that it is going to be the next house we live in. Here's a look at it...

The Mabrey's Future Home...

Rocking chairs on the front porch

Living Room
I think I would go with a lighter color of course, entertainment center against the wall, two couches facing each other (I always loved that) and a little desk and lamp in the far corner.

I'm picturing a chocolate brown for the walls, our dinning table in the middle, buffet against the wall with a big mirror over it, china cabinet in the corner you can't see, and my two red chairs in each corner. I can so see Christmas Eve dinner here...

I'm seeing the wallpaper coming down, the walls painted red, a brownish color granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances. It even has a pantry!

Red walls of course and my new round table from the folks in VA would be perfect for this spot and my black hutch next to the window on the right.

Of course, a master bath with a tub I can soak in

So there are a few pictures. I seriously check once a week to see if it is still on here. It's in Griffin in the neighborhood that we love, which is filled with mostly older homes and lots of trees. The first time I looked at it I knew it would be perfect for us and somewhere we could stay awhile and it is in our price range! I'm not even going to tell you because you may run out and steal it from me. If it does happen to sell before I can get to it, you will hear me cry. I am in love!
