Moving On Up

Yes, the blog is on crack again. I'm not sure I'm loving the look so be prepared it might be changed again soon.

I got a big surprise yesterday!!! Actually, I've known about it since last Friday, so technically it was a surprise last week but the UPS man delivered it yesterday.

Have I mentioned how wonderful my husband is? Even though he eats all the oreos and buys me fat free ice cream. Oh yeah, I didn't tell y'all about that one.

Anyways, he sure does know how to make it up to me.

He bought me a Nikon D60 for my birthday. I got it early due to the fact it was on sale. I'm not complaining though.

I have been talking about getting a good camera for the last two years. Even before we found out we were pregnant, I told him it was my one must have before we have kids. Ever since we found out we were pregnant, I have been heavily hinting I wanted one.

And for the record, I know very little about these things. Nor do I have plans on become a professional. Those people have a natural talent. I just wanted a easy to use camera that takes really good pictures without being a professional. I have been told these were the way to go and so far I'm pretty impressed.

I know I told him a hundred times yesterday, but thank you so much honey! Your way too good to me. I love it and I cannot wait till Olivia gets here to use it on her.

Now we're officially ready for Olivia to arrive.

Getting sharp images depends alot on the lens. You should call Tiff and get some tips!

That was so nice of him. I want a really good camera too, but not sure we can afford it right now. My sister has an awesome camera, so we'll just have her take pics when we get together!
