Crib Comforter
My clearance crib from Target. Originally $180, on clearance for $120.
I like the names that everyone puts above the crib, but I had been looking for something different since everybody does it. So, I took scrapbook paper that matched the colors of her room, glued them to the wood letters, cut around the edges of the letters, and put a few coats of glossy modge podge on them. I was scared on how they would turn out, but I absolutely love them. They turned out perfect and match the room perfectly. Now I need some ribbon to hang them.
The glider is SOOOOO comfortable. This was what David's parents wanted to contribute to the nursery, which we're very grateful for because it was also the most expensive item. I LOVE IT!!! It is currently sitting at their house waiting for the room to be painted. The room will be painted next week so I have already asked if they can bring it as soon as the painting is done. I can't wait to get this bad boy home. It comes with a matching glider so I will be using it before Olivia Kate gets here. I need something to prop my cankles up on.

Here are my two favorite pieces of Olivia Kate's Room...

Yes, there is a lot of pink, but this is my one excuse to have a pink room. My little girl is going to be decked out in pink until she starts to protest. I have some wonderful friends who have volunteered to come help me paint, so we are having a paint party next week. Things should pretty much fall in place after that. I will post some pictures when it is completely done.
